Salute 2 Service's Inaugural Fishing Challenge is a community-based fundraising event designed to bring together veterans, military families, and community supporters for a day of fishing, fellowship, and friendly competition. Whether you are an experienced angler or casting a line for the first time, this event provides an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while supporting a meaningful cause.
The Fishing Challenge is more than just a day on the water it is an investment in the veterans and families we serve. One hundred percent (100%) of net proceeds from this event will be deposited into the Salute 2 Service, Inc. Grant Fund, which provides emergency assistance and support services to veterans, service members, and their families facing hardship. Funds help support critical needs such as housing stability, food insecurity, utility assistance, transportation, and other essential services that promote long-term well-being and self-sufficiency.
By participating in the Fishing Challenge, you are helping Salute 2 Service continue its mission of honoring service through action and ensuring that no veteran or military family faces life's challenges alone. When you register or sponsor a fisherman, all proceeds will go to veterans and their families. Please share your "fishing tales" and photos with us as well.
